At the end of a 6 week course Halton Borough Council Community Coach, Ste Woods, presented 'certificates of acheivement' to over 30 nursery upto year 2 children. The course, facilitated by West Bank Bears, was based on the rugby league skills of catching, passing and running. From the children who attended the course the Bears have been able to form a new Under 7 team for the coming season. West Bank's teams are back in summer training. All training takes place at Widnes Recreation Club. New players are welcome at every age group. |
